The Conversion of Sulphate-Enriched FGD Gypsum to Sulphate-Enriched FGD-Based Manure of Hindalco (Aditya Birla Group), Mahan

Envirowaste2wealth Pvt. Ltd. is currently undertaking an innovative project on the conversion of sulphate-enriched Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) gypsum into sulphate-enriched FGD-based manure. The project focuses on value addition and sustainable utilization of industrial by-products, transforming FGD gypsum into a nutrient-rich soil amendment.

The process aims to enhance the agronomic value of sulphate and calcium present in FGD gypsum, making it suitable for agricultural application while promoting waste-to-wealth, circular economy principles, and reduction in industrial waste disposal. This ongoing project supports sustainable agriculture and environmentally responsible waste management.
